Antje Valentin studierte Instrumentalp\\u00e4dagogik mit Hauptfach Klavier an der Universit\\u00e4t der K\\u00fcnste Berlin. Im Anschluss verband sie ihre p\\u00e4dagogische Arbeit an der Musikschule Berlin-Spandau mit Konzertauftritten als Solo- und Kammermusikerin. Von 1997 bis 2000 leitete sie kommissarisch die Musikschule Berlin-Friedrichshain und absolvierte das Aufbaustudium Kultur- und Medienmanagement mit Diplom an der Hochschule f\\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Sie war stellvertretende Leiterin der Landesmusikakademie Berlin und von 2011 bis 2024 Direktorin der Landesmusikakademie NRW. Seit M\\u00e4rz 2024 ist sie als Generalsekret\\u00e4rin des Deutschen Musikrats t\\u00e4tig. Antje Valentin ist in zahlreichen Gremien aktiv, darunter als Vorstandsmitglied des Netzwerks Junge Ohren und der Jeunesses Musicales Stiftung.<\/p>
